Ive been feeling quite sluggish nowadays and I wonder if I should embody more passion when hitting the books. I find myself floating from the dining table to my sofa and occasionally out the door just to see what the weather is outside. I think the cold’s getting to me. Nonetheless, this should not stop me from posting fresh edits from the fantastic Ben and Jaime. They are a wonderfully creative couple. Ben is a drummer and Jaime’s handicraft is the bestest. You can visit their blog documenting their love for God and one another here.

this shot grew on me as I looked at it.

having a little fun.

oh gee…was just checking your blog randomly while refusing to sleep, being in denial that tomorrow morning calls me back to the oh-so-boring-and-painful deskjob again.
You sound so much like me when I was a student – the sofa-dining table-out the door restlessness. Actually, what am I saying? I still do it despite leaving my student life a decade ago! ha ha. More often than not I find myself in that pattern when I’m uninspired or stuck in something I detest doing but know I have to continue working on due to circumstances. That’s just me. May be entirely different for you but thought I’d share so you know there are other floaters out there.
Thank you SO MUCH for #3. Two pics is a plus! Oooh I can so see the vintageness in “having a little fun” but after analysing it, kinda seems like I’m looking at a different point than Ben.
He totally stole the shot from me la…being all so “suai”. Now even my hand positions look funny.
“this shot grew on me as I looked at it” has a spookiness to it, don’t ya think? It’s very floaty, if that’s even a word. Some sort of love with a touch of eerie. My feet look huge.
I don’t know about Jaime’s handicraft being the bestest but Ben is definitely a drummer and a fantastic one at that!
Hope your revisions are going well. Expecting flying colours from you!

yea we are definitely alike in these ways. I detest the textbook i am studying now for tomorrow’s paper. Very technical and dry but as you said, it IS a necessary evil that must be dealt with.
Haha, im think i made the second pic too old looking (textures). Personally i think your pose on that log is fine hahaha. Ben does look good in that photo! Very “Shuai” not “Suai”. “Suai” means jinxed lol.
Anyway, i know what you mean, the feet was also the issue i was oontending with when I was posting the pic. I will deal with it la. =P
Revisions are doing fine. Just don’t really feel satisfied with my preps. Like no matter how i study, there’s still so much content. Will let you know how I do.
Try have fun at work yea. See ya soon and thanks for the invite to your reception. Can be considered my first invite in Melbourne. SO exciting. hahaha.

miawee: oh gosh…jinxed??! hehehe…thanks for the Mandarin lesson 101.
Yea, Ben reckons the effect on that pic is a tad “old” for his liking but it’s not too bad for a change just this once, not for the whole set of course. Glad you received your first Melbourne wedding invite! So, you’ll be there yea? Would be honoured to have your presence.
And thanks for the advice on work but trust me, “trying” will NOT work in this instance.
I need to get O-U-T!
debL: Hey there, try ebay! Trust me the quality is not too far off from the ones you get at local boutiques which cost at least hundred and fifty bucks. I also tried a few on at a local bridal seamstress to compare quality – she charges $200+ and I only got mine for about $30+ including postage. The down side is, the ebay ones come with really tacky brooches and pearls/beads sewn in so what I did was bought the shawl and then remove them to complete the look – it’s pretty easy. Besides, it’s an ivory shawl which you may not use again after the wedding and I doubt the synthetic fur is dyeable, so can’t really justify spending hundreds on it. Hope this helps.
